From yo-yo dieter to writing the best weight-loss-advice column was a giant leap for me. For 50 years I was the Supreme Master of the yo-yo diet. Yo-yo dieting was the controlling factor in my life - I had it down to a fine art. I could have written a book on how not to lose weight.

”What Happened?” you ask? How did I become a master at yo-yo dieting? Like so many people, I gained weight while pregnant with my first child. After his birth I weighed about 140 pounds. That is when I made a big mistake. I began dieting.
Predictably I fell into the lose-gain-lose-gain trap. Each time I'd gain the weight back, I'd become depressed and gain even more. Following this yo-yo plan, I went from 140 pounds to 208 pounds.
Somewhere - along with the weight gain - my blood pressure went up. That was followed by high
cholesterol and pre-diabetes.
I’d made it as a fully qualified member of the Syndrome X club.
Sadly - as more and more children become overweight - they are becoming Syndrome X'ers at an alarming rate. They suffer from weight related diseases far earlier than did those of the previous generation.
The Secrets of a Former YoYo Dieter
When I was diagnosed with Type II diabetes, I knew I was in real trouble. I was also clueless as to
what to do. My track record did not inspire confidence in my dieting skills. I kept getting older and
sicker. I barely had enough energy to get out of bed.
Once I started the cutting edge diet, I couldn't believe how quickly my health improved. Within weeks I was off all high blood pressure and diabetes medications. I had more energy and stamina than I'd had in 15 years. I began to take a renewed interest in life and in my appearance. My depression and anxiety level dropped dramatically.
I did it. You can do it. The secret is a diet that doesn't leave you hungry or craving food! You will not
maintain weight loss so long as you feel deprived. You will thank me for this weight loss advice.
