They are packed with protein and loaded with essential amino acids. The low calorie and carbohydrate counts makes them perfect whether you are dieting or simply trying to maintain a healthy weight.
Matol Chocolate Pudding Rolls
Simple and easy to fix as usual. This recipe makes 1 Matol Diet MealDirections Add almost 4 ounces of water to the Matol Diet Chocolate Cake/Pancake Protein packet - for pancake consistency. You will want it to be a bit runny to create a thin pancake (crepe). Cook in large frying pan that has been sprayed with Pam. Cook on both sides. Let cool. Mix Matol Diet pudding flavor of your choice. Spread a layer of pudding over top of the cooled pancake. Roll pancake/pudding as you would a "jelly roll." Eat it immediately or store in refrigerator wrapped in plastic wrap. To make this even more exciting, drizzle a bit of Walden Farms chocolate syrup over your chocolate roll. Tip: For tiny dessert-type diet appetizers, cut the firm roll into small pieces and place on a fancy plate. Your guests will love them. And best of all - you can tell them they won't gain an ounce!
Matol Diet Meringues
Lemon Meringue Directions Mix one cup of boiling water for one package of Lemon Carb Free Jell-o. Mix 8 ounces of cold water with a Matol Diet Vanilla Pudding packet. Add pudding mixture to the hot Jell-O. Cover and refrigerate until set. It will make a large portion that can be eaten throughout the day. It is still only one protein packet! Enjoy! Chocolate Meringue - use cherry, strawberry, or raspberry Carb Free Jell-o and one Matol Diet Chocolate Pudding prepared as above. For a tasty Butterscotch Meringue - use Matol Diet Butterscotch Pudding with Orange Carb Free Jell-O. Remember, on the Matol diet, these are not considered treats. So even if you've had your "treat" for the day, you can still make this great Matol dessert.
Matol Dessert Diet Pie
This dessert recipe makes two Matol Diet meals when combined with one of the flavored meringues in the previous recipe.Direction for Pie Begin by preparing one of the flavored meringue recipes above. Allow it to set up so it isn't runny. Make a healthy pie crust by mixing a Matol Diet Maple Oatmeal with just enough water to make a cookie-like dough. Add a hint of cinnamon spice. Mix in 1/4 tsp of baking powder. Press into small oven-safe bowl. Bake in oven or toaster oven for about 7 minutes. Let cool completely. After "pie crust" has cooled, pour Lemon Meringue over top of pie. Place in refrigerator till pudding is firm. Divide into two servings.
